A Bit About Me

I hail from the Sunshine State of California, where I was born and raised. My childhood and young adult life was filled with creative explorations and global adventures thanks to my loving parents and supportive family. After completing my undergraduate foundation, I moved north to Oregon and completed my degree in technical costume for theatre.

I stayed in Oregon for twelve years, working as a professional costume maker and sewist. During this time, I learned the art of leathercraft at Ravenswood Leather. My five years with them was exciting to say the least, for when I was not behind a sewing machine, I was spending long days working comic book conventions and renaissance fairs. This sparked a lasting love of leatherwork that continues to this day.

In 2024, I decided to continue my formal education in costume work by moving to England to attain a master's degree in Historical Costume. While as a full-time student at Arts University Bournemouth, I taught a master's level workshop in leatherwork and have acted as an advisor on the subject to others in my cohort.
